Aubrey’s career includes achievements in both short and long form media as a writer and director. During his first year behind the camera, one of his spots was considered to be among the “TOP 10 SPOTS OF 2001” by Playback Magazine. He followed up with another placement in the “Top 10” and was mentioned as “DIRECTOR TO WATCH” in BOARDS magazine.
He was also chosen to appear in SHOOT Magazine’s NEW DIRECTOR SHOWCASE, plus, one of his spots appeared on the INTERNATIONAL SHOTS REEL. In 2004, he had two campaigns featured in the Top 20 on Adcritic.com. Recently, his Janes “Scottish Fisherman” spot was shortlisted to appear in the show “The World’s Funniest Commercials” in the U.K., and his short comedy film, DRAMA QUEEN was medal winner at 2006 Houston WorldFest, and a selection at festivals in New York and Rome.
